QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Undergraduate degree or higher level of education in Finance, Accounting, business management or relevant fields;
  • 5+ years of work experience in corporate/commercial lending and ability to analyse complex lending scenarios;
  • 3+ years of relative working experience in local financial institution, preferably in the area of marketing, underwriting, commercial /corporate banking, capital market, or credit risk control;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English to deal with customers;
  • Communication Skills in Mandarin is considered an asset;
  • Ability to work under pressure to handle difficult situations and meet deadlines;
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively seek new high-value prospective corporate clients locally. Build relationships with the Bank’s existing and prospect clients and grow sustainable business volume and revenues from business relationships to meet with the assigned quantitative and qualitative performance targets as well as KPI and other performance targets of the Bank;
  • Initiate and present credit proposals for clients’ credit facilities. Complete timely and in-depth evaluations and analysis of financial risks, credit risks, regulatory risks, operating risks, etc. for all credit facilities, to ensure final approval is obtained within the given timeline;
  • Develop marketing strategies and provide business solutions to existing and potential clients and promote the Banks’s products and services;
  • Build and maintain effective channels including local banks, international banks, solicitors, accountants, professional relationship, etc., to explore potential business opportunities.
