This is a full-time, 12-month, classified staff position. RCC has an excellent benefits package, and the anticipated salary range will be $75,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience. This position supervises staff and will be located on the Glenns campus.
Reporting to the Vice President of Finance and Administrative Services, the Business Manager will provide overall management of the accounting, budgeting and purchasing functions of the college business office. The college Business Manager plays a key role in overseeing the financial, operational and administrative aspects of the college, ensuring efficient and effective business management. This position will prepare financial reports and associated budget analyses, and cost projects. The incumbent will review and implement internal policies and procedures, assure that all revenue is properly managed, review and approve expenditures, monitor cash and allotment allocations, state appropriations, and post grant management controls. The Business Manager will also serve as a liaison to auditors, lead in the annual ARMICS preparation and provide information and data to various state agencies.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in financial accounting, administrative and business processes
  • Extensive experience in financial reporting, budget development and projections
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
  • Advanced level computer skills and knowledge of software applications, such as Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in supervising employees
  • Knowledge of grant administration
  • Experience with year-end closing and audit preparation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, interpret and apply policies and procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize work
