ROLE SUMMARY

The Business Manager, Specimen Management (SM), Singapore, Pakistan and Brunei, is responsible for leading the SM business in Singapore and BDX business in Pakistan and Brunei. This role is responsible to develop and implement strategic and operational objectives, pro-actively defend the business, lead sales to meet or exceed business goals for profitable revenue growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide vision, leadership, and strategic direction to the sales team to achieve revenues, growth, and profit targets.
  • Manage relationships with key customers and key distributors to ensure expectations are met at both senior and end-user levels.
  • Defend market share and explore growth within the SM portfolio to achieve significant growth and gain relevance in the market.
  • Manage all aspects of sales, marketing and clinical performance, including the tender process, sales targets, market shaping initiatives, opportunity identification, report preparation, opportunity analysis, sales coaching, and marketing & clinical strategy execution.
  • Liaise with key internal departments and associates and develop cross-functional contacts critical to business performance.
  • Collate and present team feedback and report on competitor activity.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the existing portfolio and act accordingly.
  • Actively contribute to Salesforce Effectiveness (SFE) and all aspects of Commercial Excellence by developing and coaching the sales team in the BD Way of Selling to meet or exceed sales revenue and profitability objectives.
