SGS’s Head Office supports global operations by driving strategy, innovation, and governance across all business lines—ensuring consistent quality, compliance, and performance worldwide Job Description Job title: Business Market Analyst Job Type: Permanent Location: Ellesmere Port - Head Office, On-site Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: Up to £34,000 pa DOE Overview of the role: To research, identify, and evaluate mergers & acquisitions related to company growth strategy Performing industry research to help Business Managers stay ahead of trends and developments Translating complex market data into clear actionable reports, delivering results to SLT and stakeholders Using market databases such as Capital, IQ, Pitchbook, Mergemarket Delivering meaningful business opportunity reports with reasons aligning to business strategy Qualifications The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has a working knowledge of understanding company profiles, ownership and commercial / merger propositions.
