The Business Office Assistant serves as the key bookkeeper within the Financial Office.
Business Office Assistant Job Duties:
· Reports to the Finance Director

· Reconciles cash drawers daily (2-2 ½ Hours)(5-6 Hours Monday)

• This includes balancing the drawers back to their starting balances
• Reconciling the sales and nightly revenue to Toast reports
• Creating an invoice for Petty Cash as needed.

· Prepares deposits. Enters Restaurant journal entry. (½ Hour)
· Go to bank for change. (1 Hour 3 times a week)
· Prepares AP checks for distribution and mailing. (15 min)
· Enter all income from Box Office. (1/2 Hour)
· Clear checks on the check log daily. Send out request for status to Department heads weekly. (2 hours)
· Compares all credit card statements to credit card feeds monthly (8 Hours)
· Collects quarters from laundry machines, rolls coins, and deposits them. (3 Hours)
· Assist Business Office with assistant work as assigned.
Job qualifications:
· Must be proficient in Excel and able to create simple formulas.
· Must know how to count US currency.
· Must have reliable transportation.
· Experience with Toast a plus.
