The Business Office Assistant is responsible for providing appropriate office support necessary for an effective, smooth-running operation using the philosophy, objectives, and policies of this facility. Responsibilities * Performs all duties of Accounts Payable Clerk. Should be knowledgeable in accounts receivable and Resident Trust. * Insurance (Medicare, private insurances, Medicaid, etc.) billing and verification of benefits & coverage as well. * Meet and greet with residents and/or families for completion of the admission packets. * Collections Qualifications * High school graduate or its equivalent. * Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook. * Previous business office experience is highly preferred. * Excellent customer service skills. * Collections experience is preferred. * Knowledgeable in the Medicaid application process.
