Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Business Office Coordinator – Full-Time | Geriatrics Position Summary The Business Office Coordinator (BOC) plays a key role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and outstanding patient service. In this role, you will collaborate with clinical teams, providers, and patients to support a welcoming and efficient environment within the Geriatrics practice. What a Business Office Coordinator Will Do: Welcome and check in all patients while ensuring a positive and professional experience. Verify insurance eligibility accurately and maintain up-to-date patient records. Support patient flow by collecting co-payments, obtaining required signatures, and updating charts. Perform administrative responsibilities including scheduling, supporting revenue cycle processes, and maintaining organized daily office operations. Education Minimum: High School Diploma. Preferred Associate’s Degree in healthcare related area. Related Experience Preferred: Two years of experience in a medical office. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Minimum Knowledge of medical terminology. Working knowledge of managed care insurance plans and revenue cycle process. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to deal with people with diverse backgrounds and educational levels. Strong problem solving skills. Ability to manage high volume phone calls and to remain organized and composed. Ability to work in team-oriented environment. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with highly sensitive information. Computer Competency: Familiarity with standard desktop and windows based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation.
