Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Administrator to optimize daily operations across the facility.
  • Manage general administrative and secretarial functions to support all departments.
  • Step into temporary or long-term assignments across departments as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with external agencies, including government entities and third-party payors.
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with residents and their families.
  • Oversee mail processing and distribution to ensure smooth communication.
  • Handle inquiries professionally, adhering to policies and confidentiality standards.
  • Welcome visitors and ensure they are directed to the appropriate departments.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as typing, account management, and report preparation.
  • Manage timely distribution of Personal Needs Allowance (PNA) to residents.
  • Provide front desk coverage as needed, demonstrating flexibility and multitasking skills.
  • Work closely with Future Care on accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions.
  • Represent the Business Office at Medicare meetings.
  • Provide backup support to the Human Resources Department.
  • Oversee weekly banking tasks and other essential errands.
