Abwaab | Business & Operations Analyst (Office of the COO) Location: Amman Type: Full-time Department: Corporate About the Role This role is the right hand to the COO, combining business analysis, operational execution, and executive administration. The person ensures the COO: Has clear data and insights to make decisions Stays organized, prepared, and on track Can operate efficiently across commercial and learning operations Key Responsibilities 1. Executive & Administrative Support (Core) Help manage the COO’s calendar and priorities Proactively schedule and prepare the COO for meetings Track follow-ups and ensure action items are completed Draft emails, notes, and internal communications Prepare meeting agendas, notes, and summaries 2. Business & Commercial Analysis Track commercial KPIs (revenue, pipeline, performance, margins) Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports Build and maintain dashboards Support forecasting and planning Surface insights, risks, and opportunities 3. Learning Operations/Experience Support Track student experience metrics Support operational planning and execution Coordinate across learning, commercial, and operations teams Identify process improvements 4. COO Office & Strategic Execution Support cross-functional initiatives led by the COO Track milestones, dependencies, and deadlines Follow up with teams to keep work moving Prepare presentations and decision briefs for leadership Time Split Approximate allocation: 40–50% Executive / Admin Support 30–40% Business & Operations Analysis 10–20% Strategic Projects Required Skills & Experience Must-Have Strong organizational and time-management skills Comfortable managing calendars, emails, and priorities for a senior leader Strong Excel / Sheets skills Clear, professional written communication High attention to detail and follow-through Nice-to-Have Experience in a COO office, EA role, consulting, or operations Experience working with commercial or operational data Background in education, learning, SaaS, or services Personal Attributes Proactive and anticipatory Calm under pressure Comfortable switching between admin tasks and analytical work High discretion and trustworthiness Takes pride in “making things run smoothly”
