Description
The Athletics Business Operations Assistant position will offer part-time administrative support to the internal operations team to manage a variety of tasks related to the successful management of all work for the Butler University Athletics business office. Responsibilities Process forms of payments, reimbursements, purchase orders, disbursements, travel, and business expenses. Support team travel invoicing and trip reconciliation for ground transportation, hotel reservations, flight bookings, and catering/meal needs. Maintain and enhance exceptional customer service on behalf of the athletics department. Maintain and improve business office best practices on behalf of department. Other duties as assigned by Assistant Athletic Director of Business Operations and Associate Athletic Director of Internal Operations. Required Qualifications HS degree required. Ability to work flexible hours required. Individual must be highly motivated and organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently. Detail-oriented and able to cultivate and maintain a high-performing atmosphere of customer service. Ability to work effectively with student-athletes, coaches, administrators and staff members. Ability to collaborate at a high level with a diverse group of individuals. Outstanding verbal communication and leadership skills. Computer skills in Word and Excel required. Preferred Qualifications Baccalaureate degree preferred. Background/experience in finance preferred.
