Our Business Operations Specialist role is responsible to provide overall business support in a variety of functions to an individual, team, department, or other group in an organization. Collects, reviews and analyzes data, and prepares reports, charts, budgets and other presentation materials. Responds to or routes routine inquiries from external or internal sources with standard correspondence or other messaging. Responsibilities Creates and manages business organization systems to ensure accuracy and availability of data. Directs incoming business opportunities to the individual needed to expedite the request. Manages business resources to ensure operational efficiencies. Manages the reporting, documentation and investigation of all Workers Comp claims. Ensures business compensation is accurate and timely. Manages the integrity of business data within data systems. Manages required documented temporary employees’ certifications are valid and notifies those employees when they are expired. Manages social media marketing on a regular basis. Responsibilities, duties and activities may change at any time with or without notice. Works on special projects as needed. Certified Payroll report distribution to clients on weekly and monthly basis. Responsible for monthly CIP reporting. Requirements Excellent customer service skills. Excellent communication (listening, speaking, writing) and diplomacy skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Outlook and Internet Explorer. Proficient in use of Excel and Word tools. Has basic word processing, spreadsheet and graphics software skills. Must be organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be deadline focused. Adaptability and flexibility required. Proficient in Avionte/Bold (Order entry, back office set up, assignments). Project based billing. Certified Payroll and CIP Knowledge. Skills & Abilities Requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary. Generally, a sedentary role in a typical office environment. Ability to work unsupervised. Requires independent thinking and decision- making capabilities. Qualifications High school graduate. Minimum one to two years’ experience working in an office environment. Experience working independently. Demonstrated experience in managing competing demands.
