Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Reporting & External Audit, you will serve as a trusted financial advisor by offering insights and guidance that support sound decision-making aligned with corporate objectives. You will collaborate closely with designated client leadership, as well as Human Resources, Information Systems and Finance teams, to deliver tailored financial solutions and strengthen cross functional relationships. You will be required to maintain a deep understanding of service line operations and patient populations to effectively inform planning and resource allocation. You will also partner with Finance Representatives in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Accounting to resolve issues and implement effective solutions. In addition, you will promote a culture of financial stewardship and continuous improvement, contribute to corporate planning and financial resource management, and support enterprise risk management initiatives. How do I qualify? Required: * Undergraduate Degree (4 years) in Accounting or Business Administration (master's degree in business administration, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or Management will be considered.) * Certified Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA). * Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience. * Experience in organizing, analyzing, and evaluating data (quantitatively and qualitatively). * Experience with hands-on in-depth financial, accounting, and audit analysis. * Experience with large computerized financial reporting systems. Preferred: * Fluent in French and English. What skills should I possess to succeed in the role? * Knowledge of Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standard (OHRS). * Knowledge of Hospital services / programs. * Knowledge of Hospital accounts and organizational structure. * Knowledge of general accounting, management information system (MIS / OHRS) guidelines, hospital organizational structures. * Advanced analytical and synthesis skills. * Advanced proficiency in English (oral and written). * Ability to influence and guide decision-making. * Skilled at simplifying complex information and presenting it convincingly. * Demonstrates empathy in difficult and complex situations. * Confidence to challenge respectfully. * Demonstrates initiative and autonomy. * Organizational skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. * Advanced knowledge of financial systems and Microsoft Office.
