Position Purpose: Ensure operational excellence within Rewards by conducting job evaluations, benchmarking activities, and the year-end compensation review process, participating in, or leading Rewards projects at country or BU level. The role ensures the organization’s reward programs remain competitive, equitable, and are aligned with market standards. Your Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but not limited to: Compensation Benchmarking & Market Analysis Conduct compensation benchmarking activities, including survey submissions, validations and ad-hoc as well as year-end benchmarking. Analyse survey outcomes, derive market insights, and maintain an accurate internal market reference structure. Support development and updates of compensation ranges, salary structures, and pay frameworks based on market trends. Provide benchmarking guidance to P&O and business partners during hirings, internal movements, and strategic reviews. Job Evaluation & Job Architecture Governance Support global job evaluation processes using an established evaluation methodology. Ensure consistency and fairness in job evaluations and help maintain job architecture integrity. Partner with P&O BPs and Rewards Partners to assess new roles, evaluate changes to existing roles, and support organizational design discussions. Maintain accurate job taxonomy, job levelling data, and related system documentation. Year-end Compensation Review Process Support the year-end compensation review process Participate in testing tools and processes to ensure an efficient year-end cycle Facilitate data maintenance related to year-end planning by working closely with H2R & P&O partners Own the post-cycle corrections by working with various stakeholders Create offline year-end statements when required Gather local legislative requirements for implementation in the tool Process Excellence & Stakeholder Collaboration Act as a key point of contact for benchmarking, job evaluation, and year-end compensation inquiries. Work closely within the rewards team to drive quality, efficiency, and insights for the rewards initiatives. Support continuous improvement of compensation tools, templates, and standard operating procedures. Deliver trainings to specific client groups on reward programs or Rewards related processes. Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal standards, and audit requirements. What you’ll bring to the role: Essential Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field. 4+ years of experience in Compensation/Rewards, HR Analytics, or HR Operations. Strong hands-on experience in compensation benchmarking, survey participation, year-end process and job evaluation frameworks. Proficiency in Excel, HR data systems (e.g., Workday), and compensation tools. Analytical and storytelling skills—ability to translate data into actionable insights. Why Sandoz?
