Description

We’re looking for an engaging Business Partnership Manager to join our team and drive success across the region.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, you’ll play a key role in achieving Chubb Life NZ’s distribution objectives by building great relationships with professional Advisers and ensuring their customers receive tailored, high-quality solutions.
You’ll take a leading role in providing strategic business development support to empower Advisers to grow and succeed, while driving segmentation strategies to enhance profitability and ensure lasting sustainability.
Working closely with the Distribution team you’ll work to unlock opportunities, share expertise, and strengthen Adviser loyalty.

Responsibilities

IN THIS KEY ROLE YOU’LL

  • Hit production and persistency targets with customer-focused Advisers.
  • Create account plans to drive loyalty and sustainable growth
  • Provide product expertise and business strategies to help Advisers grow sustainably and enhance customer experiences.
  • Manage Adviser relationships to protect production and maximize growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Distribution Management Team to develop strategies that achieve production, persistency, and quality targets.
  • Organise and deliver Professional Development Days, New Adviser Courses, Workshops, Roadshows, and similar events for regional and national Advisers
  • Develop annual account plans for with targets, strategies, and actions to align with distribution goals.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL AND GROW IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL IDEALLY BRING THE FOLLOWING

  • 5+ years of senior-level Life Insurance or Financial Services experience, with expertise in distribution.
  • Proven experience in business development and consultancy within SME markets.
  • Skilled in business risk management and insurance advice practices.
  • Strong understanding of insurance value drivers, including persistency and profit metrics.
  • Exceptional relationship-building, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
  • Resilient, confident, and proactive in engaging new Advisers.Goal-oriented with strong prioritization and self-management abilities.
