In Indonesia, our company has been established since 2005 and currently focuses on two main therapeutic areas, namely oncology and vaccines. Job Summary The Business Partnership Manager leads the orchestration of the hospital ecosystem across numerous key institutions, focusing on strategic partnerships and the development of Oncology Centers of Excellence. The role involves engaging a wide range of external stakeholders—including hospital administrators, policy makers, and healthcare providers—to align on brand equity and market access strategies. This Business Partnership Manager approach ensures that brand value is embedded not only in clinical conversations but also in institutional collaborations and ecosystem development. Internally, the Business Partnership Manager collaborates closely with Marketing, Sales, Field Teams, FPP Specialists, and the Market Access team to ensure ecosystem strategies support business objectives and public reimbursement initiatives. All activities must comply with pharmaceutical regulations, including anti-bribery, promotional standards, and patient data privacy. The Business Partnership Manager also monitors partnership performance, supports capability building, and facilitates knowledge sharing to promote best practices and long-term portfolio growth. Responsibilities 1. Strategic Ecosystem Development Lead the orchestration of the hospital ecosystem, focusing on numerous key institutions across Indonesia (public and private). Develop and implement strategies to establish Oncology Centers of Excellence (CoEs) that support clinical excellence and portfolio expansion. Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships with hospital networks, healthcare institutions, and public-private entities. 2. Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment Drive wide-spectrum stakeholder engagement, including hospital management, policy makers, institutional leaders, and healthcare providers. Ensure consistent messaging and alignment across stakeholders to support brand equity and market access strategies. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure stakeholder engagement plans are integrated into broader business objectives. 3. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partners with Marketing Leads, Sales Teams, Field-Based Executives, and FPP Specialists to ensure ecosystem strategies are operationalized effectively. Support launch readiness and market preparation for new products by enabling infrastructure and stakeholder alignment. 4. Compliance & Ethical Standards Ensure all partnership activities and stakeholder engagements comply with local and global pharmaceutical regulations, including: Anti-bribery and anti-corruption policies Promotional and non-promotional engagement standards Data privacy and patient confidentiality regulations Maintain documentation and audit readiness for all partnership activities and engagements. Financial Patient Program related work will follow the updated patient program proposal 5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting Track and evaluate the impact of ecosystem initiatives and partnerships on business performance. Provide regular updates and strategic insights to the Business Unit Head and relevant leadership teams. Use data-driven approaches to refine strategies and improve partnership outcomes. 6. Capability Building & Knowledge Sharing Facilitate knowledge exchange between institutions to promote best practices in oncology care. Support internal capability building by sharing insights from ecosystem engagements and institutional collaborations. Role Evolution & Strategic Impact The Business Partnership Manager (BPM) is positioned to play a critical role in the long-term strategic growth of the Oncology and Rare Disease Business Unit. As the portfolio expands and new therapies are introduced, the BPM will be instrumental in preparing the ecosystem for future product launches by aligning institutional infrastructure, diagnostic capabilities, and stakeholder engagement. This includes identifying launch-ready sites, conducting readiness assessments, and co-developing pathways with key institutions. Over time, the BPM is expected to evolve from managing transactional engagements to leading strategic partnerships that support value-based care and sustainable access models. The role may also expand to cover additional therapeutic areas or geographies, including rare diseases and emerging markets. High-performing BPMs may progress into senior strategic roles such as Ecosystem Strategy Lead, Institutional Access Director, or Business Unit Strategy Advisor, contributing to broader policy shaping and regional business expansion. Additionally, the Business Partnership Manager is encouraged to champion innovative partnership models—such as digital health collaborations and public-private initiatives—that enhance patient outcomes and system efficiency. Requirements Minimum Bachelor Degree, preferably in Business Management/ Pharmacist or Medical related Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or hospital partnership roles. Proven track record in stakeholder engagement, strategic partnerships, and ecosystem development. Strong understanding of oncology and rare disease landscape in Indonesia. Excellent communication, negotiation, and project management skills.
