YOUR SKILLS AND ABILITIES (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS):

  • 3-6 years of experience related to Manufacturing or Engineering processes, project management, or business operations
  • Proven ability to articulate visionary concepts effectively and communicate professionally and concisely to all levels of leadership
  • Demonstrated project and process management and prowess
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Self-starter and resourcefully independent

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS):

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and metrics
  • Experience related to vehicle manufacturing, vehicle assembly, robotics, automation, or GM launch processes
  • Experiencing managing a budget including forecasting
Responsibilities
  • Support the Global Manufacturing GA and ARC Directors in the organization and running of the business (staff meetings, special assignments, etc.) on a team of business planners
  • Support the business planning strategy including the Business Plan Deployment (BPD) and internal business processes for the organization
  • Track the execution of strategic initiatives versus the business plan. Analyze key operating metrics such as Manufacturing Cost Per Unit (MCPU)
  • A strong understanding of the business landscape and the competitive environment is essential for making sound strategic decisions, external business knowledge and benchmarking.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency.
  • Develop and conduct presentations for all levels of management
  • Foster a forward-thinking work culture that embraces change and navigates future organizational and industry challenges
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships across various functions including all ME Centers, ARC, manufacturing, engineering and program management to synergize efforts towards future innovations
