Enables Departments and Cross-Functional teams to successfully perform their roles. Ensures initiatives support the achievement of the broader HDMA/NA objectives. The Business Planning role will promote the strategic intentions of RO business plan directives, interpret, and provide guidance to Plant Leadership to ensure the plant activities align and support the achievement of the organization’s objectives. The individual in the role will represent Plant Leadership to HDMA top executives in Plant’s strategy and business plan development and execution activity that reinforces the characteristics required for achievement of factories’ goals, while maintaining uniformity for the HDMA Company Design. Key Accountabilities Lead the Plant’s mid-term strategy and business plan development. As a representative of the Plant Leadership, collaborate with upstream and downstream customers to ensure strong alignment, performance, and execution through robust PDCA of themes and KPIs Drive PDCA on performance metrics, identifying and suggesting focus areas for Plant leadership discussion Lead priority themes, studies and continuous improvement activities within Plant by engaging internal stakeholders, and engage other Plants in cross-sharing of best practices Develop the Plant story flow and document preparation for HDMA executive review as indicated in the company Business Operation Flow. Lead business management process controls and audit functions as it relates to business planning compliance verification Maintain the Factory’s Management Manual to align with the HDMA Management Manual Requirements Qualifications & Experience Required Education Bachelor’s degree, MBA desirable. Required Experience 10 plus years of experience (preferred minimum of 4 years manufacturing experience and 2 years leadership experience) Decisions Expected Business Plan Development and scheduling activities Identification and escalation of themes requiring urgent attention to ensure plant performance. Business Planning process improvement and benchmarking activities across MMC sites Working Conditions Overtime: 5-10 hrs/week during peak activity periods with need to adjust time to support needed activity and meetings Onsite: Open office environment with moderate level of noise and activity Travel – Domestic / International What differentiates Honda and make us an employer of choice?
