Position: Business Process Analyst
Location: Arlington, VA or remote
Clearance: Secret clearance
ODRG is seeking a business process analyst knowledgeable of the security cooperation lifecycle and foreign military sales. Business Process Analyst work with end customers to identify areas where performance or processes can be improved, and to help them detail requirements for new business process needs. This involves meeting with key stakeholders to determine the goals of the organization, gathering and analyzing data and process mapping, and creating requirement reports based around recommendations. This job is well suited to people with great interpersonal and communication skills, strong report writing abilities, an aptitude for analyzing data, and great business acumen related to security cooperation/foreign military sales.

WRITING REQUIREMENTS

Process analysts apply their knowledge of business process modelling and present the data they’ve gathered to stakeholders for further discussion and opportunities to outline desired outcomes resulting from new processes/systems.

Requirements:

  • Proven business process IT experience, including strong documentation and configuration management skills.
  • Plan and conduct studies to improve quality, reduce costs, increase productivity and improve cycle time by reducing wasted time, rework, etc. resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide management with project status updates, feedback, and appropriate reporting on key responsibilities and objectives.
  • Facilitate meetings and/or projects, determine audience and tactics appropriate for a particular discussion. Adapt facilitation style in order to engage a variety of group settings.
  • Evaluate process improvement information, including policy and procedures to identify inefficiencies and coordinate to determine a future state that satisfies the business requirements.
  • Use appropriate measurement, analysis and evaluation methods to accurately identify and document process improvements
  • Analyzing current processes: In order to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Conducts interviews, observes workers, and collects data.
  • Perform cost assessments to determine whether or not a proposed improvement will be financially beneficial.
  • Designing and implementing new processes, to include developing process maps and as necessary, writing procedure manuals.
  • Conduct Process Analysis: Evaluate current organizational processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
  • Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and analyze data, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to quantify process inefficiencies and track improvements over time.
  • Change Management: Facilitate change management efforts by communicating proposed improvements, obtaining buy-in from stakeholders, and ensuring successful implementation.
  • Training and Documentation: Develop training materials, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and documentation to ensure that optimized processes are effectively adopted and maintained by teams.
  • Security Clearance Requirements:
  • This position requires you maintain a Secret clearance.
