KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Commercial Insurance knowledge/experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in developing and delivering business process analysis and optimization initiatives with quantifiable results
  • Lean process improvement experience preferred
  • Process mapping MS Visio or similar tools
  • Training in Lean/Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping or BPM preferred
  • Commercial Insurance experience preferred
  • 4-year college degree preferre
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate discussions with the business to document and analyze processes at the enterprise level, including identifying pain points, process gaps, metrics, and areas for improvement.
  • Evaluate current process standards and metrics to determine opportunities for enhancement through technology or improved processes.
  • Document business models and their alignment with technology for presentations to stakeholders.
  • Prioritize changes based on critical needs and coordinate with business and IT departments to create implementation plans as necessary.
  • Develop communication plans regarding process changes for multiple stakeholders, ensuring end-user documentation is provided for each new process delivered.
  • Ensure changes are implemented consistently and timely, managing risks and minimizing business disruption.
  • Collaborate with the business to identify performance metrics for process changes, develop tracking methodologies, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Update and maintain documentation related to process improvements and process performance.
  • Participate in projects as required.
  • Provide training and guidance to resources as needed.
  • Develop and document process improvement methodologies and activities.
  • Work with various teams to recommend appropriate changes in processes or approaches.
  • Drive projects and initiatives from inception to execution.
