That is the task

• Working closely with central operations teams and international sales companies , you will harmonize existing supply chain processes and develop new global process variants.
• With your expertise, you will optimize forecasting models, planning parameters and rule sets in our central planning systems and ensure that automated scheduling functions reliably.
• You control automated planning processes and keep an eye on delivery readiness, planning quality and exceptions in order to continuously improve product availability.
• During the international rollout of our SAP planning systems APO and IBP, you will contribute your professional expertise, support the sales companies and accompany global rollout projects.
• You will design new planning functions, from the technical specification and coordination with IT to system tests and successful implementation in the countries.
• As the central contact person for an international country cluster, you will support our sales companies in demand and inventory planning for spare parts, accessories and consumables in the Professional and Domestic business units.

That convinces us

• You bring several years of practical experience in international demand and inventory planning and are familiar with the challenges of automated, rule-based planning, especially for spare parts and consumer goods.
• You are familiar with the independent control and optimization of automated planning processes and know how forecasting models, planning parameters and rule sets interact, and your skills in SQL and Power BI support you in developing analyses.
• In your collaboration with international stakeholders, you succeed in bringing together different requirements, explaining complex relationships in an understandable way, and driving forward joint solutions.
• You are familiar with different forecasting and segmentation methods, have experience with intermittent demand models, and already have experience in AI/ML forecasting.
• Solid knowledge of SAP APO and/or SAP IBP, as well as a good understanding of the associated ERP processes in SAP R/3 or S/4HANA, will help you to translate business requirements into functioning system solutions.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills will enable you to work confidently with our international teams and sales companies .
