Piper Companies is hiring a Business Process Lead (Procurement) for a manufacturing company located in Greensboro, NC. The Business Process Lead (Procurement) will serve as a strategic bridge between Business Process Leads, System Integrators (SI), and IT teams, ensuring the successful adoption of SAP S/4HANA. The Business Process Lead (Procurement) will need to sit hybrid in Greensboro, NC and is a long term contracting role.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE BUSINESS PROCESS LEAD (PROCUREMENT):

  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes in the Consumer Packaged Goods/Tobacco industry.
  • Prior involvement in global transformation programs of similar scale (e.g., Unify).
  • Proficiency in assessing and approving:
  • RICEFW specs
  • Configuration designs
  • Data requirements for functional design
  • Technical interface specs with external platforms
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly:
  • Source-to-Pay processes
  • Business Partner and Material Master data
  • Supplier collaboration
Responsibilities
  • Analyze system defects and guide resolution strategies collaboratively with SI and IT teams.
  • Provide end-to-end quality assurance across testing, data readiness, business change, and training activities.
  • Facilitate the transition to the Target Operating Model, supporting new role adoption and process controls.
  • Enforce data quality standards to enable consistent insights and a single source of truth.
