  • Wide ranging business experience covering multiple processes, departments and functions
  • Experience of large-scale programmes and projects, particularly technology driven change.
  • Confidence with process mapping tools and exposure to BPM applications.

A QUICK LOOK AT THE ROLE

The Business Process Specialist is at the heart of designing and improving business processes in Biffa. You will act as an advocate of process management, support major projects with process work and identify improvement opportunities in all we do.

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the delivery of projects with a particular focus on process, using process analysis, mapping and Lean improvement skills.
  • Conduct process workshops and fact finding, working collaboratively with business analysts and engaging with business stakeholders to fully understand current processes and issues.
  • Design and document future state and improved business processes.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities as part of design and strive for best-in-class processes.
  • Responsible for understanding and documenting the KPI’s, risks, controls and business rules relevant to the processes.
  • Work with process owners and wider Biffa colleagues to know, manage and improve our processes while growing Lean thinking within our culture.
  • Help build processes that deliver the needs of our colleagues and customers.
  • Ensure our processes are well documented and understood in end-to-end process maps.
  • Support business implementation and readiness activities, through testing and creation of procedures/SOPs.
  • Support the delivery of change management and training activities such as change impact assessments, change action plans, training needs analysis and training modules.
