The Business Process & Value Analyst’s Purpose is to identify, analyse, and optimize business processes that can be enhanced through Data science, AI & other emerging technology solutions, while quantifying their financial impact. They develop comprehensive business cases that demonstrate the value and ROI of automation-driven process improvements through rigorous cost-benefit analysis. They lead the successful integration of the technologies into targeted business processes, driving effective change management to ensure adoption and measuring outcomes against defined success metrics. They serve as the critical link between technological innovation and business value realization, ensuring the new solutions deliver measurable improvements to the company’s operational efficiency and financial performance.
The Value Proposition of the Business Process & Value Analyst is to accelerate the organization’s Data science & AI transformation by identifying high-impact process opportunities and translating them into successful technology implementations with demonstrable ROI. They bridge the gap between technical capabilities and business needs by ensuring that solutions are seamlessly integrated into existing workflows and drive measurable financial outcomes. By combining process expertise with value analysis, they minimize implementation risks while maximizing returns on Data science, AI & emerging technology investments, ultimately transforming how the business operates and competes in the marketplace.

As our Business Process & Value Analyst, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Process Discovery & Mapping
  • Analyse and document current business processes across departments to identify Data science & AI transformation opportunities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand process pain points and business requirements
  • Create detailed process maps and workflow diagrams that serve as the foundation for Data science & AI solution design
  • Value & Impact Assessment
  • Quantify the financial impact of existing process inefficiencies (costs, revenue loss, resource utilization)
  • Provide data-driven investigations and clear ROI projections to Product managers, Product owners and other business stakeholders in developing and prioritising Data science & AI use cases
  • Solution Integration
  • Collaborate with AI engineers, data scientists, and IT teams to integrate automation solutions into existing operations
  • Oversee the operationalisation of the newly developed tools, ensuring seamless adoption and minimal disruption
  • Change Management
  • Lead change management initiatives to drive adoption of AI-enhanced processes
  • Work with Product owners & delivery teams to offer training and support to business units impacted by introduction of the new technologies
  • Performance Measurement
  • Establish KPIs and success metrics aligned with business objectives for each Data science & AI implementation
  • Design monitoring frameworks to track performance improvements post-implementation
  • Report on value realization and ROI achievement to key stakeholders
  • Risk Management & Compliance
  • Assess risks associated with AI integration and develop mitigation strategies
  • Ensure AI-driven processes comply with industry regulations, data security, and ethical AI principlesMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of processes and procedures
