The Chief Operating Officer (CO0) for Minecraft Studios is hiring a Business Program Manager (BPM) to play a key role within the organization to help deliver on the objectives of the COO, the office of the Core Operations Organization, and Mojang Studios. The BPM should have a proven track record and proficient skills in business program management, business operations, and customer and partner engagement. This role calls for a balance of strategic and execution skills in ensuring our studio and the people in the studio are set up for success to meet our priorities. An ability to anticipate and respond quickly as new opportunities and situations arise is critical.

In this role you will:

• Identify internal opportunities to develop new programs and processes and improve current ones with minimal guidance. Collaborate with others to identify root problems (e.g., root-cause analysis), define the program strategy, gather program requirements and work across teams to align on the plan.
• Develop tools, reports and operational toolkits to help drive the needs of the Mojang Studio Operations organization.
• Improve operations of existing programs by applying best-in-class practices. Drive clarity in program issues while striving for simplification.
• Support business operations including ROB and maintaining our tools and processes.
• Handle special projects and incoming requests as they arise.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
• OR equivalent experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement OR equivalent experience.
• Proven track record in developing business strategies for diverse industries and leading cross-functional teams to drive operational efficiency.
• Previous experience in owning market research, product management, and developing AI-driven business strategy recommendations.
  Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and execute tools that will allow for efficient operational execution for Mojang Studios.
• Demonstrates a expertise in business operations to ensure technical and business solutions are congruent and connected, providing the right business value.
• Develops the vision, strategy, and experience of an increasingly complex, high-impact solution area for a domain area (e.g., D365, Power Platforms, CoPilot, AI Solutions, etc.).
• Aligns Business Programs with overall business strategic objectives.
• Tracks, coordinates, and communicates end-to-end project schedules for solution area(s).
• Holds stakeholders accountable for following the schedule.
• Tracks work, dependencies, and resources against project schedules to enable cohesive, connected user scenarios and utilize finite resources to accomplish goals.
