POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a Business Relationship Manager (BRM) with a vertical focus on data centers to drive sales and develop long-term relationships within colocation providers, hyperscale facilities, and enterprise data centers. The ideal candidate has prior experience in enterprise-scale physical security systems or a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network security, or facilities management within data centers.
In this role, you will work closely with data center security teams, IT directors, facility managers, and compliance officers to assess security risks and implement highly secure, scalable, and redundant security solutions that align with industry regulations, operational needs, and uptime requirements.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in enterprise-scale physical security sales or knowledge of IT, cybersecurity, or facilities management within data centers.
  • A track record of consultative sales success in a B2B environment, preferably within colocation, cloud, or enterprise data centers.
  • Understanding of data center security regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, Uptime Institute standards).
  • Strong ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, including pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience working with security technologies such as access control, video management systems (VMS), intrusion detection, and biometric authentication.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a mission-critical, 24/7/365 environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience selling security solutions in data centers or a background in data center IT, facilities, or compliance.
  • Familiarity with key security platforms such as Genetec, Lenel, Milestone, Avigilon, or Verkada.
  • Previous experience working with cloud service providers, colocation firms, or hyperscale data center operators.
