Position Summary We are seeking a proactive and relationship-driven Business Representative to support and grow our retail business within the Target account and other key regional partners. This position will focus on maintaining close collaboration with Target’s merchandising and operations teams, coordinating product launches, and ensuring smooth retail execution. The ideal candidate has experience working directly with Target’s buying offices or vendor teams, strong communication skills, and a passion for consumer products. This position is based in Twin Cities, Minnesota, with occasional travel required to stores, trade events, or regional meetings. Key Responsibilities * Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and Target’s local and regional teams. * Support business development initiatives, including new product listings, category expansion, and promotional planning. * Coordinate product setup, packaging, and compliance requirements through Target’s vendor systems. * Monitor sell-through performance, stock levels, and promotional execution across Target stores. * Analyze market trends and consumer feedback to identify growth opportunities within the apparel, home, and lifestyle categories. * Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, logistics, and product teams to ensure timely fulfillment and promotional readiness. * Prepare and deliver product presentations and seasonal reviews to Target category managers. * Maintain accurate records of account activities, sales performance, and reporting metrics. * Assist in coordinating in-store or regional promotional events to enhance brand visibility. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. * 3+ years of experience working with Target or other large U.S. retail chains in account coordination, category management, or business development. * Strong understanding of Target’s vendor systems, retail operations, and merchandising structure. * Proven track record in sales coordination, retail analytics, or vendor management. * Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with retail reporting tools is a plus. * Highly self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally. * Bilingual in English and Chinese is preferred but not required.
