Join our agile team as a Business Resilience Specialist within the COO Group. In this pivotal role, you’ll help embed and maintain business continuity and operational resilience practices across the division, ensuring we’re prepared for disruptions and compliant with regulatory obligations (including APRA CPS 230). You’ll work closely with stakeholders, coordinate key activities, and promote a strong resilience culture. Key Responsibilities Facilitate annual and ad-hoc Business Impact Analysis (BIA) reviews. Coordinate and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), including risk assessments and scenario testing. Develop and deliver training on Business Continuity Management (BCM) guidelines and tools. Maintain the CPS 230 Critical Operations Assessment Model and associated registers. Prepare and present continuity-related risk profiles and insights to senior leadership. Support risk assessments for changes impacting critical operations. Develop and maintain reporting templates and protocols for incidents and testing outcomes. Contribute to governance documentation and Board-level assessments. What You’ll Bring 7+ years’ experience in business continuity planning, operational risk management, and process modelling within Australia’s financial services or APRA-regulated entities. Strong experience implementing business continuity and operational risk frameworks. Working knowledge of CPS 220/230 core concepts. Experience in change management and related methodologies. Excellent report writing, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills. Critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
