Job Purpose: To oversee the Risk & governance of PBG entity customers with regulatory, compliance and operational framework of the bank. This includes on-boarding of new Business Banking customers followed by portfolio data governance and management of BAF (credit) portfolio with applicable process/system controls. Principal Accountabilities: Manage the customer on-boarding process and ensure new customer on-boarding is as per Central Bank guidelines and banks internal processes. Approving low/medium risk accounts and coordinating with compliance team for high-risk accounts for Business Banking Responsible for managing portfolio clean up exercises along with Product due to Cheque returns, AML exists & any other reasons. Reviewing FCY approvals for low and medium risks as a checker and granting approval to open such accounts in accordance with SME FCY policy. Review of manual cases as a checker & granting approval to open account in accordance with SME onboarding policy for Low & Medium risk. Analyze reports such as TL expiries and Archival reports and present the data to the Manager and product teams to facilitate necessary actions. Responsible for serving BAF clients and accounts will be assigned as RM2 for required EWI monitoring and close contacts/ visits BAF clients. Conduct regular SME/BAF portfolio reviews to identify risk areas and implement risk mitigation strategies. Monitor the conduct of new on-boarded business banking customers and as well as existing portfolio to identify / pro-actively remedy accounts with suspicious transactions / business conduct. Conduct Due Diligence on identified accounts NTB/BAF to prevent their deterioration at an early stage. Conduct random reviews of the liability portfolio under the PBG umbrella by mean of EDDs, and provide feedback to senior management, to maintain quality book. Responsible for publishing daily AML/RFI reports related to the PBG Entity accounts & ensuring their timely closure. Escalate to the manager if necessary. Collaborate with other business units to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements i.e. FATCA/CRS reporting to Regulatory compliance for entity clients. Create MIS reports and presentations to communicate risk assessment results to senior management and stakeholders. Develop and implement risk management plans to mitigate identified risks. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk management strategies. Escalation to management any of the accounts meeting the Early Warning Indicators defaulting in BAF products, change in payment behavior. Establish effective & professional communication to ensure turnaround time within designated parameters. Stay up to date with relevant laws and regulations and ensure our business operations are compliant. Manage vendors performing customer site visits, documents verifications. Requirements Education and Experience At least 7-10 years of experience in risk management, with a strong focus on identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks Degree in accounting, finance, economics, and business management In depth technical knowledge of consumer banking products and services Numerical and financial analysis skills Proven ability to develop and implement risk management plans. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to analyze complex data and information. Thorough knowledge of global financial markets and trends Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations Interacts regularly with PBG Management to seek advice and discuss the recommended action plans for decreasing the cost of risk and Enhancing the Due Diligence. Ongoing contact with business, compliance, credit, collections, RMs, Vendors, Business managers and other departments Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with other department and stakeholders At least 7-10 years of experience in risk management, with a strong focus on identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks Degree in accounting, finance, economics, and business management Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) are a plus
