This pivotal role focuses on connecting businesses with AT&T B2B’s cutting-edge communication and technology solutions, building lasting relationships, and driving growth in the local market.
As a Business Sales Consultant, you will participate in an immersive training and development program designed to master the complexities of B2B sales within the telecommunications sector. The Business Sales Consultant role involves actively identifying, prospecting, and engaging with small to medium-sized businesses throughout St. Louis, Missouri. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth needs analyses, presenting tailored AT&T Business solutions, negotiating contracts, and ensuring seamless onboarding for new corporate clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF THE BUSINESS SALES CONSULTANT:

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • 0–2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a client-facing role, preferably in a B2B environment or telecommunications.
  • Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively to business clients.
  • Strong negotiation and objection-handling abilities, with a focus on creating win-win propositions.
  • Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of managing a robust sales pipeline independently.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for client meetings and territory management in St. Louis, Missouri.

Responsibilities
  • Actively identify and prospect new business leads within the assigned territory through research, cold outreach, networking, and referrals.
