Overview / Job Description
As a Business Sales Executive within our transport company, you’ll serve as a vital link between us and our business clients. You’ll offer tailored transport solutions, combining your technical understanding with a customer-centric approach to drive sales, build relationships, and contribute to our company’s commercial success.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
· Advise clients on our transport services’ capabilities and limitations.
· Prepare and present accurate quotations (pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms).
· Arrange logistics coordination for delivery and installation as needed.
· Customise service proposals to customer needs and specifications.
· Provide after-sales follow-up to ensure satisfaction and secure repeat business.
Required Experience & Skills
Experience:
· Proven success in business-to-business sales, especially with technical products or services.
Hard Skills:
· Quoting & negotiation
· Client relationship management
· Delivery and logistics coordination
· Accurate record‑keeping and CRM usage
· Commercial acumen in pricing and payment terms

Qualifications
· A degree, diploma, or equivalent—preferably in business, logistics, transport management, or a related field.
· Demonstrable commercial learning—via apprenticeships or related hands-on roles—is also valued.
Salary & Remuneration Guidance
Salary: £ per annum (competitive and depending on experience; typical range: £39,000–£44,000; higher for senior level)
