We know that working together is the only way we can achieve what is necessary for a healthier future.    About the role    An opportunity exists for a part-time Customer Service Officer to join the Business Service Centre, providing essential support to internal and external visitors at our Box Hill Hospital site. This is a dynamic, service-oriented position ideal for someone with experience in reception or administration, preferably within a healthcare setting.   As the first point of contact at the main reception desks, the Business Service Centre delivers 24/7 face-to-face, telephone, email support to internal and external stakeholders, and supporting emergency code processes. The team plays a critical role in maintaining a warm and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff while also overseeing key administrative systems and providing help desk support.   You’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team delivering exceptional customer service, responding to service requests and system faults, and performing a range of administrative duties.     Position hours   This position is for 29.5 hours a fortnight over a fortnightly rotating roster for the following shifts:    Week 1:  Thursday: 3pm – 9pm    Friday: 3pm - 9pm  Sunday: 3pm - 9pm   Week 2:   Wednesday: 3pm – 11pm    Thursday: 3pm – 9pm      About you     To be successful in this role you will possess:   Outstanding customer service skills  The ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team   Strong computer and administrative skills   A proactive attitude and willingness to learn   Excellent communication and organisational skills   A reliable work ethic and high level of professionalism  An interest in healthcare — previous experience in a health environment is desirable but not essential   Healthcare workers are strongly recommended to follow COVID vaccination recommendations provided in the Australian Immunisation handbook (based on ATAGI advice).
