The Campus Development portfolio play a pivotal role in the future growth and
sustainability of the University. This business unit is responsible for facilitating and managing essential infrastructure, maintenance, and capital works projects that underpin the University’s operations and growth.
A key responsibility of this portfolio is the delivery of the University’s Campus
Development Plan, which is critical to ensuring the campus evolves in line with strategic priorities, supports innovation, and meets the needs of students, staff, and the broader community. By managing complex projects and maintaining high standards across all facilities, the Campus Development team helps create an environment that fosters learning, research, and community engagement.
As a central enabler of the University’s operations, this portfolio ensures that every project and initiative aligns with sustainability principles, modern design standards, and long-term planning objectives
Your New Role!
The Business Services Administrative Assistant sits within the Campus Development and provides business and office support across all functional areas of Campus Development. The position supports the management and governance of the Campus Development team in all day-to-day activities, contributes to accurate record keeping and timely processing of documents, and supports the directorate to deliver the university’s Campus Development Strategy

Your Key responsibilities will include –

  • Manage incoming requests through shared mailboxes, set up and maintain records accordingly. Maintain relevant documents, databases and archiving system in accordance with University guidelines (e.g. paper and electronic records of projects/legal documents).
  • Manage and maintain invitations to University wide committee meetings and other standing meetings, prepare agendas and minutes on behalf of the Director of Campus Development and the Associate Director Capital Delivery.
  • Develop, implement and review systems and processes to ensure effective recordkeeping. Maintain all office files and ensure appropriate treatment of information via University’s various systems.
  • Monitor office and tearoom supplies, and place orders as required, in line with the University’s ordering procedure.
  • Support Campus Development team with general administrative and office needs, maintain good communication and a positive culture, including onboarding activities and engagement with the Universities support system.
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other relevant documentation as required, based on operational documents and available data, to support the directorate’s strategic planning and reporting obligations.
  • Collate and check monthly reports against a quality control checklist and communicate with stakeholders within the university to ensure timely processing of contractual and other documents.
