The Business Services Coordinator serves as a vital link between UMC's customer-facing operations and internal teams. This dynamic role combines front office hospitality with critical support functions. Creating exceptional first impressions for visitors while providing essential administrative duties. Front Office & Customer Experience Serve as UMC's ambassador by greeting visitors professionally and ensuring exceptional hospitality Answer and direct incoming calls with courtesy and accuracy, providing company information as needed Maintain building security through digital visitor log management, badge issuance, and ITAR compliance Manage reception area, conference rooms, and workroom cleanliness and organization Coordinate amenities including conference room supplies, water, and visitor refreshments Sales Operations Support Process customer order requirements including RFQs, sales orders, forecast data, revisions, and acknowledgements Maintain and update customer database with accurate account information Enter and revise purchase orders, quotes, and order entries in ERP system Sort through open orders to identify discrepancies and escalate to Account Managers Complete quote and business risk assessment forms based on Sales team input Marketing Support Assist in developing and maintaining promotional marketing materials Support digital marketing implementation across web and social media platforms Maintain and update company website content Coordinate with vendors for marketing materials and promotional items Support trade show and event planning logistics Administrative Operations Manage mailroom operations including supplies, postage meter, and mail distribution Coordinate company event planning support and monthly team celebrations Maintain vendor relationships (vending, supplies, etc.) Support filing, copying, data entry, and general clerical duties Water office plants and maintain common areas Other duties as assigned. Requirements Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 to 2 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of phone/paging systems.
