SUMMARY: While delivering innovative solutions, exceptional service, and trusted results, the Business Services Manager (BSM) participates in a variety of business engagement activities, such as, industry sector groups, chamber of commerce, and economic development initiatives. The BSM is directly responsible for developing strong partnerships with entities serving businesses. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Lead a positive, proactive, and results-oriented work culture that is innovative and representative of KRA’s values and consistent with continuous quality improvement, as well as manage, direct and coachtheBusiness Service Representative (BSR) teamon effective business outreach strategies and development of customized solutions to meet performancebenchmarks; * Develop and implementbusinessservices strategic plan to ensure successful implementation of a comprehensive business servicesstrategy; * Develop individualKPIperformance goals for the business servicesstaff; * Oversees employer training and placements and client screening andreferrals; * Establish data collection and tracking methods to track business services performance measures and customersatisfaction; * Serve as a communication link between businesses and their needs and the workforce development system and itsservices; * Customize business services to meet the different core issues and needs of different sectors of the regionaleconomy; * Organize and participate in economic development and sector initiatives, Job Fairs, Employer informational sessions, networking events, Chamber of Commerce meetings, social activities, legislative roundtables; * Conduct workshops presentations on target sectors and labor market information to single businesses, large groups, and/orjobseekers; * Participate in regular staff meetings, staff training, supervisory sessions, and accept the responsibility of aiding the development of positive team relationships asrequested; * Recruit employers of all sizes, build long-term relationships, and maintain contact with them to meet emerging and changing needs of theregion; * Facilitates the connection between economic development and workforcedevelopment; * Identify opportunities and strategies for improvements. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. Core Competencies:  * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills required, including strength in persuasive writing, editing, and presentation design * Excellent project management skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines,benchmarks,and goals. * Ability to foster a positive work environment, building strong working relationships, and effectively leading a team. * Entrepreneurial approach, flexible attitude, and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. * Strong understanding of sales principles. * Abilityto analyze market/industry data and create clear strategies. * Ability to cultivate and manage high quality stakeholder relationships and demonstrated ability to work with a diverse workforce. * Ability to function ata high levelof discretion and confidentiality. * Must be a self-starter and committed to completing tasks timely, which may include working additional hours and/ or over the weekend as needed. * Travel approximately 20% of the time. * Bilingual; fluency in Spanish preferred. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:  * Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. The degree requirement may be substituted for eight (8) years of professional work experience.  * At leastfive (5)years of recruitment, account management orsales-relatedexperience. * At leastfive (5)yearsof experienceina mid-seniorleadership role. * Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software highly preferred. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Personal computer literacy required, including effective use of the Internet, e-mail, video conferencing (Zoom, Teams) and other Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Ability to learn workforce related case management software. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, sit, talk, and hear.
