Business Services Specialist $32.35 per hour | Casual Movie World, Oxenfod, Gold Coast The Opportunity Join the team that keeps the numbers flowing and the business growing! As a Business Services Specialist, you’ll keep numbers in check, ensure accurate financial processing and reconciliations, and support system integrity across POS, EFTPOS, stock, and SAP. You’ll collaborate with Finance and operational teams to maintain strong controls, deliver timely insights, and help the business run like clockwork. Key Responsibilities It’s not just about the numbers, it’s about keeping the business running smoothly behind the scenes! You will be: • Keeping EFTPOS transactions on track by accurately allocating, reconciling, and resolving any discrepancies • Preparing journals and supporting smarter ways of working by helping automate processes across POS and payment systems • Delivering accurate End of Month reconciliations on time, ensuring everything balances and stays compliant • Processing guest refunds with care, accuracy, and in line with company policies • Supporting strong systems and processes so teams can confidently manage their financial responsibilities • Partnering with Finance and Accounts Receivable to provide timely, reliable information for reporting and decision-making • Working collaboratively across teams to deliver great internal service and keep things running like clockwork • Assisting across POS, stock management, and SAP processes to maintain accuracy, compliance, and efficiency every day. What We’re Looking For We’re searching for someone who can keep the numbers sharp and the teamwork strong. You’ll bring: • Experience with POS and payment reconciliations, ideally in a similar or supervisory role • Strong accounting, bookkeeping, and reconciling skills with a keen eye for detail • Solid analytical and report writing skills to turn data into meaningful insights • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across all areas of the business • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint), with SAP knowledge a bonus • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines • A professional approach, with discretion and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality • Flexibility to be available for urgent or business-critical matters when needed We value everyone’s unique contributions and encourage candidates of all backgrounds, abilities, and experiences to apply.
