The Global Finance Solutions (GFS) team liaises cross-functionally, sharing responsibility for the implementation, maintenance, modification, improvement, access, and governance of financial accounting and reporting systems with the goal of ensuring the accurate recognition and reporting of financial activity. GFS is a business partner to the Global Finance organization, providing training and issue resolution and has a key role in influencing Integration and Continuous Improvement projects.
The Implementation Specialist will report into the Manager, Global Finance Business Solutions BP&A and is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data loads, testing business processes, and configuring Workday Adaptive and related systems. This role involves developing customer-specific training and documentation, supporting testing preparation and execution, and managing the overall testing strategy as well as supporting end users in the transition to a new headcount planning tool. The specialist will also play a key role in requirements gathering, knowledge transfer, issue resolution, and serving as a point of contact for integrations.
This is a fixed-term position that begins on 7/1/2025 and ends on or before 9/30/2027.

REQUIREMENTS:

• BS/BA required, Finance or Accounting preferred or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency towards use of finance reporting systems: SAP, BPC (FSM, WFP/CCP), and Workday
• Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Workday Adaptive Headcount Planning is highly desirable but not required

• Responsible for validating data loads, testing the business processes and configuration in Workday Adaptive, and developing Customer-specific training and documentation.
• Responsibilities include documenting requirements and ensuring all functional and technical decisions are included in Workday documentation.
• Support preparing test scenarios and ensuring timely execution of testing, working with the Workday Lead in the configuring the system.
• Actively participate in knowledge transfer from the Workday Lead to ensure self-sufficiency to support issue resolution, providing training for all other Customer resources, and serving as Customer’s single point of contact for integrations and technical resources, including reconciliation of data.
• Responsible for managing Customer testing preparation, execution, and reporting, including establishing tools for storage, tracking execution of testing scenarios, enabling routing to Workday consultants, and establishing all management reports to track testing execution and analyze quality.
• Document testing strategy to support testing cycles, including roles and responsibilities, testing schedule and process for managing testing execution, and issue resolution.
• Support initial go-live provisioning (i.e., granting access to Tenant for those beyond deployment consultants).
• Set-up process for performing periodic audits to ensure users are regularly reviewed
• Support BD planning processes across global finance applications
• Execute FP&A best practices, focusing on simplification and standardization, maintaining accountability for accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness of deliverables and analysis
• Support end user base of our global financial planning tools, including security
• Act as a change leader by embracing transformational company-wide initiatives
