Job Description The Business Solutions Manager plays a critical role within the Solutions & Innovation function, supporting the development, optimization, and continuous enhancement of Revenue Management (RM) systems. This position focuses on the foundation of RM decision-making – including forecasting, optimization, and system configuration; ensuring that pricing and inventory decisions are driven by robust, scalable, and high-performing models. The role combines system ownership, advanced analytics, and innovation, with responsibility for improving forecast accuracy, enhancing optimization logic, and enabling more effective O&D control across the network. In addition, the role will contribute to the evaluation and implementation of new methodologies, tools, and technologies within the airline RM domain. Operating in a fast-paced and evolving environment, the successful candidate will balance longer-term system and innovation projects with day-to-day operational support, ensuring RM systems remain accurate, reliable, and aligned to business priorities. Accountabilities Drive innovation in Pricing & RM systems by researching and applying Operations Research methodologies, industry best practices, and emerging technologies in collaboration with solution providers (e.g. PROS, Sabre, Infare) Develop strong commercial knowledge and liaise with internal and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and recommend best practices where needed Manage and maintain calibration of forecasting and optimization models within RM systems to improve forecast accuracy and revenue performance Design and enhance system processes, practices, and controls to ensure effective usage of RM systems across the business Support RM stakeholders with system-related queries, troubleshooting, and operational requirements, ensuring minimal disruption to day-to-day activities Develop and implement KPI frameworks to monitor system performance, usage, and effectiveness, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for system upgrades, enhancements, and new releases, ensuring delivery meets business requirements and quality standards Prioritize and coordinate delivery of system enhancements, bug fixes, and new functionality in line with business needs and with system vendors Drive automation within RM systems through development of models, algorithms, and machine learning techniques to enable more efficient and scalable decision-making Manage data quality assurance of inputs and outputs of Pricing & RM systems interacting closely with RM and IT Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5+ years experience in airline Revenue Management, with a strong focus on RM systems, optimization, or forecasting models Proven hands-on experience working with RM systems (e.g. PROS, Sabre RM or equivalent), including configuration, calibration, or system optimization Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret complex data, identify patterns, and translate insights into system or model improvements Experience using statistical or programming tools such as Python, R, MATLAB, or similar Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in environments that require balancing structured project delivery with ad hoc operational demands Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical outputs into business-relevant insights Additional Information Etihad Airways is more than the UAE’s national airline - we’re shaping the future of global aviation.
