Work Location: Catch Head Office, Houston, Renfrewshire. Close to Glasgow, Paisley and surrounding areas for commuting.
Type: Permanent
Working Pattern: 30 hours per week across Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm.

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Support Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and have a background in administrative support. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our office, providing assistance to various departments, and maintaining effective communication within the organisation.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • At least 3 years’ experience within an administrative role (public or private sector).
  • Highly proficient in using all Microsoft packages, displaying competent IT Skills.
  • Strong attention to detail within administrative checklists and processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant experience within a similar role.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Employment Law, ACAS Codes of Practice and GDPR.
  • Level 2 and 3 Business and Administration NVQs or similar

Responsibilities
  • You will be at the heart of ensuring our people and leadership functions run smoothly, supporting both day-to-day operations and long-term company goals and directly contributing to the success of our service delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Maintain HR systems/databases with monthly starters, leavers and contractual changes.
  • Support internal and external enquiries and requests made to the HR function.
  • Maintain accurate employment records according to GDPR and Employment Law Legislation.
  • Assist in the administration of the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Assist with the recruitment process including all documentation from job descriptions, advertisements, interviews and inductions.
  • Support the HR Manager in the administration of storing and maintaining company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with relevant administrative duties of sickness and absence management.
  • Support employee relations processes, including notetaking at meetings, interviews and staff disciplinaries.
  • Respond to internal and external HR queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide diary management, scheduling, and meeting coordination for the CEO.
  • Support with correspondence to letters, e-mails on behalf of the CEO
  • Organise travel, meetings, and events as required.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Support with ad hoc tasks and projects.
