DESIRED WORK EXPERIENCE
General administrative experience in a customer services role with good communication skills both verbally and administratively
Good knowledge /experience in using IT systems in an administrative capacity including diary management and appointment booking
Experience in a medical/healthcare setting would be advantageous but not essential
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To carry out the administrative processes to sustain the provision of a proactive, evidence-based, safe and effective occupational health service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibility for named clients and building relationships with all stakeholders
Booking appointments and maintaining diaries which may include the booking of clinic rooms
Proactively managing e-mail contacts
Providing administrative support to the clinical team in managing referrals into the service
Proof reading and quality controlling documentation
Answering telephone queries and providing first line contact for referrals into the service
Supporting audit and other business processes as required by the Director of Business Operations
