REQUIREMENTS

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a Business Support Administrator (Finance Administrator) to join our LIC Europe team in Cahir. This part-time, office-based role is ideal for someone with bookkeeping or finance admin experience, excellent time management and the ability to work autonomously.
You’ll manage a variety of finance and admin tasks including purchase orders, invoicing, bank reconciliations, credit control, GL coding, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, inventory management, stock checks/updates VAT returns and reporting.
The role also includes general office support such as opening and scanning post, managing emails, vehicle checks, insurance renewals and booking occasional overseas travel.
You’ll be based in the Cahir office with our Ireland team. The role reports to the Business Support Manager (UK-based) and is also supported by a UK-based Business Support Administrator.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Raise purchase orders and process purchase invoices
  • Issue sales invoices and manage credit control
  • Reconcile bank accounts and process expense claims (incl. credit card receipts)
  • Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and assist with VAT returns and financial reporting
  • Process journal entries and intercompany recharges
  • Oversee inventory management and stock updates
  • Support general admin: post, email and diary management, vehicle checks, insurance renewals, travel bookings.
