Description
Solaria is a leading company in the development and generation of renewable energy across Southern Europe, firmly committed to actively contributing to decarbonisation through a global energy model based on clean sources. Since our foundation in 2002, thanks to a sustainable business strategy and management approach, we have evolved from an industrial company specialising in the manufacture of photovoltaic panels to a power generation company with a solid track record on the Spanish stock exchange. We have been listed since 2007, and in 2020 we reached a key milestone by joining Spain’s benchmark index, the IBEX 35. Today, Solaria is entering a new stage of international growth, with Germany as one of our strategic priorities. We are already developing nearly 5 GW of projects across photovoltaic, battery storage and Power Land, consolidating our ambition to become a key player in the country’s energy transition. Joining Solaria in Germany means being part of a company that is expanding rapidly in the market, offering a unique opportunity for professional development and growth within an international, innovative and sustainability-driven environment. During the internship, you will collaborate with different departments—such as Operations, Permitting, Land, Engineering, Administration, and Finance—contributing to the coordination, organisation, and execution of daily activities. You will also support communication with our Headquarters in Spain and report directly to the Country Manager. Main responsibilities: Provide administrative, organisational, and operational support to multiple departments (Operations, Land, Permitting, Engineering, Finance, etc.). Assist in the preparation, review, and coordination of documentation, reports, and internal communications. Support basic accounting and finance tasks, such as invoice tracking, expense monitoring, and coordination with the Finance team in Spain. Help coordinate communication and information flow between the German team and the Headquarters in Spain. Assist in scheduling, meeting coordination, and follow‑up actions with internal and external stakeholders. Contribute to project tracking, data collection, and ensuring information is updated and properly documented. Prepare summaries, presentations, and reports for the Country Manager. Perform general office and business support tasks to ensure smooth workflow across departments. Minimum requirements: Current student in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related fields. Interest in renewable energy and in supporting cross‑functional business operations. Basic knowledge of administrative or accounting tasks, or willingness to learn. Strong organisational, communication, and teamwork skills. Proactive, responsible, and comfortable working with multiple departments. Ability to work up to 20 hours per week under a temporary contract. On‑site presence required at our offices in Berlin. Native German speaker. Good level of English. Spanish will be considered a plus. Willingness to collaborate regularly with our Headquarters in Spain and support reporting tasks for the Country Manager. What we offer Practical experience supporting multiple departments within a leading renewable energy company. Training and mentoring in administrative processes, coordination tasks, basic accounting support, and internal tools used across the organisation.
