ABOUT THE ROLE:

Our client within the management consulting industry based in Hurstville are looking to bring on a business support officer to join their team. Supporting the National Field Area Manager, you will be responsible for providing administrative and compliance support throughout the invoicing process for the business unit. You will come from an accounts payable background with a great attention to detail and an eagerness to hit the ground running.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process of the subcontractor workforce
  • Manager the end-to-end compliance process of the subcontractor workforce
  • Identifying, preparing and submitting client invoices via system and manual process
  • Oversee debtor management - follow up any rejections and non-payments
  • Account reconciliation
  • Internal and external stakeholder management - help your stakeholders better understand the payments process and provide feedback or dispute resolution
  • Cross checking invoices and payments and identify any discrepancies
  • Assist with subcontractor contract documentation and signing process
  • Provide system support to internal and external stakeholders
  • Escalate any ongoing subcontractor non-compliance issues to relevant parties
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly reporting
  • Database management - updating variations to orders, invoicing information, etc
  • ADHOC administrative tasks as required by the department

TO SUCCEED IN THE ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • 3+ years’ experience within an Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable role
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to hit the ground running
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills with good stakeholder management experience
  • Proven ability working within a fast paced, high volume environment and managing multiple tasks
  • Sound judgment and good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with initiative and collaboratively as part of a team
