As a Business Support Officer, your key accountabilities will include:

  • Responding to customer enquiries with professionalism and empathy, in line with Council policies.
  • Maintaining and updating customer records using appropriate systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with GDPR.
  • Achieving high standards of data input across spreadsheets and bespoke databases.
  • Collecting, analysing and disseminating statistical data relevant to the service unit.
  • Organising complex multi-agency meetings and accurately capturing decisions and key information.
  • Upholding confidentiality and data protection standards at all times.
  • Supporting service delivery through meticulous record-keeping and process adherence
Responsibilities

ROLE PURPOSE

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to join our dynamic team within the Customer, Arts and Property/Business Support service. This role is vital in delivering efficient and effective administrative support across the organisation, helping teams maximise their delivery and contributing to the Council’s overarching goals. You will be instrumental in ensuring customers receive an excellent service.
