Description

BRING CLARITY, STRUCTURE, AND CALM TO A HIGH-IMPACT EDUCATION ORGANISATION.

We’re hiring a Business Support Officer for a respected, mission-led organisation working at the heart of education and skills in the UK.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organisation, clear communication, and making things run smoothly behind the scenes — particularly across executive support, scheduling, and internal operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting senior leadership with diary management and meeting coordination
  • Preparing and formatting reports, board packs, and documents
  • Coordinating internal projects and tracking progress
  • Helping to manage compliance, HR, and onboarding administration
  • Keeping everything moving — and nothing slipping through the cracks

About You:

  • Experienced in a business support, personal assistant, or operations role
  • Confident managing schedules, documents, and multiple stakeholders
  • Highly organised, discreet, and comfortable with autonomy
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office/Teams and modern digital tools
  • Bonus: background in education, training, non-profit, or public sector

The Offer:

  • £27,000 salary (negotiable depending on experience)
  • Full-time preferred, but we’re open to part-time from 3 days/week
  • Hybrid working: 1–2 days in the York office, remainder remote
  • Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a values-driven environment

This is a role where your attention to detail, calm under pressure, and ability to “just get things done” will be genuinely valued.
If that sounds like you — we’d love to hear from you.
