About the role In this role, you will support the delivery of building services across permit assessments, statutory compliance and customer enquiries, while developing your professional administration skills. Working alongside a dedicated team you will ensure that a diverse range of technical and administrative functions are delivered in a timely, efficient and accurate manger, whilst maintaining the highest level of customer service and experience. Key responsibilities include: * Coordination and management of the Council Pool and Spa Register including regular mailout of documentation. * Preparation and submission of regular reporting such as monthly building activity data for the Building and Plumbing Commission, and Private Building Surveyor lodgements. * Evaluation of Freedom of Information requests and provision of documentation when required. * Data integrity checking and program of corrections. * Monitoring current trends and development of web materials to assist in providing proactive customer service. * Creation and maintenance of work instructions and correspondence across the building unit. * Participation in ongoing continuous improvement program for a range of key outcomes. Essential Experience: * Relevant qualifications and / or experience in office administration * Well-developed people skills to support, influence, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders. * Ability for critical and analytical thinking and ability to proactively solve problems * Adaptable to innovation and improvements with an awareness of change management * Strong stakeholder management skills, and ability to work with diverse stakeholders to achieve task outcomes. * Proficient in standard desktop applications, business systems and audio-visual technologies to support efficient work practices.
