About the role This position is responsible for providing high-quality administrative support across both the Communications & Customer Engagement and Marketing, Brand & Creative Services teams. This role also supports senior leadership by coordinating business processes, analysing vendor invoices for accuracy, and identifying opportunities to improve contract and service delivery. On a daily basis you will: Provide high-quality administrative support to Communications & Customer Engagement and Marketing, Brand & Creative Services leadership teams. Assist with financial management, including budgeting and quarterly/annual reviews using Council systems. Prepare and coordinate professional documents, such as briefing papers, reports, and presentations. Organise meetings and manage agendas, ensuring timely and accurate support materials. Deliver exceptional customer service, handling enquiries and maintaining strong internal and external relationships. About You The successful candidate should have 3+ years relevant administrative experience, with a proven track record of achieving objectives. They will showcase exceptional ability to communicate, build relationships and influence others with an engaging approach and technique. You will also bring: Tertiary qualification (min Cert IV) in Business, Management, Administration (or related discipline) or a significant amount of comparable industry experience in an administrative support capacity. Demonstrated ability to provide high level support to a broad team, or a senior personal assistant role, as well as lead and manage small projects. Demonstrated experience in business administration, including procurement, invoicing, presentations, reporting, and handling sensitive matters with discretion. Experience supporting communications, marketing or customer service teams preferred but not essential.
