  • Certificate IV in Business (Administration) or 3 years’ experience in an Office Administration role
  • Previous experience in a similar customer-facing administrative or sales role and a proven track record of delivering high standards of customer care.
  • Experience of complaint handling.
  • Experience of working effectively, sometimes at senior level, with a wide range of organisations and individuals to build strong customer relations, promoting ideas, and converting these into strong ongoing partnerships or working opportunities
  • A good understanding of the value and positive impacts of veterinary professionals
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Able to demonstrate strong prioritisation and organisation skills, an ability to manage changing priorities and workload management with proven experience of meeting deadlines
  • Very good interpersonal, customer care and communication skills
  • Empathy with the needs of clients and their patients

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Client Relationships Business Support Officer to join our team. The role will primarily be based within our Cannington Hospital, with some days within our Yokine Hospital and also travel to our primary vet locations.
This is a permanent part-time role with approximately 20 hours per week.
At Perth Vet Emergency, we place great value on the relationships we have within our team as well as those in our wider network of clients, primary care veterinarians and other industry colleagues. The person we are looking for will have a passion for developing strong relationships and ensuring a seamless client experience!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Maintaining regular contact with our primary referral network ensuring these relationships are well nurtured. This involves site visits.
  • Research and discover further opportunities to introduce our team to new industry colleagues
  • Being the main point of contact for ensuring clients receive a check in to see how their furry friend is doing after a visit to the hospital and escalation point for client feedback
  • Coordination of and attendance at key networking events including continued professional development seminars, community engagement events as well as celebratory events throughout the year
  • Maintaining regular contact with our colleagues within the Tertiary-education teams.
