This role is for a Business Support Officer, Level 1, based at Etrop Court, Wythenshawe. As a Business Support Officer for Children’s Services Locality Teams you would be providing administration support to Social Workers, Team Managers, Service Leads and Assistant Directors and some multi agency partners.
You would be undertaking a range of duties from answering the phones, supporting with reception, minuting meetings and panels, paying out cash, ordering and paying for goods and services using a variety of systems, maintaining the customer recording database to name a few.
All of our work involves computers. A lot of the work we do is statutory and must be completed in timescales as it has a direct impact on the lives of children, young people and their families. You would be working as part of a team of Business Support Officers in both your chosen area and also the wider Business Support team citywide.
If you are successful, Business Support Officers work alongside the Children’s Social Work service in Manchester and has a key role in the delivery of high-quality support to people who use services, and those who care for them, as well as families, communities and providers to ensure safe practice and protection from abuse.
