Qualification - English L1, Maths L1, A Level 2 Business Admin Qualification or willingness to achieve one in two years
DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance - this post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013). Appointable candidates will be required to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Our courses are taught from eight adult learning centres across the city in areas such as Blackley, Crumpsall, Gorton, Longsight, Moss Side, Newton Heath, Withington and Wythenshawe.
As a Business Support Officer Grade 3, you will be working on the front line and will be the first person that our learners meet, you play a valuable role in helping our Manchester residents feel welcome, comfortable and confident whilst in our centres.
You will provide administration support to the professional staff within Manchester Adult Education and the duties are varied but may include meeting and greeting citizens at reception, answering the telephone, data inputting, scanning and uploading of documents.
