Business Support Officer, Job-Share, Part Time Role, Ongoing, Sydney This role is a Grade 3/4, with the prorated base salary for this role starting at $84,659 - $92,701 plus superannuation, commensurate with experience. This role is part time – working three days per week (equivalent to 21 hours in total per week), Wednesday to Friday and operates solely from our offices at Kent Street, Sydney. About the Role We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our Finance and Operations team on a part-time basis and in a job-share arrangement. In this role, you’ll provide exceptional administrative and front of house support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our organisation. As the first point of contact for visitors and staff, you’ll deliver a welcoming reception experience and ensure professional, high-quality administrative support across the team. Some of the key accountabilities for the role include: Providing high level customer service as the first point of contact into the organisation, in person and on the phone. Providing a range of administrative and support services, including front reception, records management, routine correspondence, meeting, and event coordination, to support the effective operation of the organisation. Collecting and compiling information and preparing documentation and correspondence in line with quality and organisational requirements, to support information flow and inform decision making. Complete routine purchasing services for the office, ensuring compliance with agency standards and procedures. About You The ideal candidate will have the capacity to work from the office Wednesday to Friday each week and have demonstrated experience in an administrative support role, with the ability to respond to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. You will bring strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work, along with excellent customer service skills that allow you to build positive relationships and create a welcoming experience for staff and visitors.
